Gail Simmons: Professional life and Career
At the beginning of her career, Simmons started by writing reviews for McGill Tribune. After that, she became an intern at the monthly magazine “Toronto Life” and also wrote for the daily National Post Newspaper.
Gail has worked for the food critics Jeffrey Steingarten as the assistant of him for two years at Vogue. She also became the special events manager for the restaurant empire of the chef Daniel Boulud for three years.
It was in the year 2004 when Gail joined Food & Wine as a special projects manager. Additionally, she has also been the judge with “Top Chef” since its season one premiere on 8th March 2006.
